Sean's excellence in high school drafting classes led to his acceptance at California's top-ranked university for architecture, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where Sean learned the art and science of how architectural spaces impact daily life.  Sean's commitment to environmental sustainability led him to be the first of his graduating class to become an Accredited Professional with the US Green Building Council. 

 

With his Bachelor of Architecture and Minor in Sustainability, Sean moved to San Jose and worked for HMC Architects and Studio S Squared Architecture. He became a California-licensed architect and built relationships with local engineers, building departments, general contractors, and vendors to deliver exceptional service to clients that expect the best. 

 

Although he was grateful for a partnership offer from his previous firm, his desire to be a more personally connected architect led him to establish Aardvark Architecture with the following founding philosophy:

"A client's vision best becomes reality when driven by an architect invested in the process from concept to completion."

 

Sean is living his dream, designing dream homes from his own home-office while spending more time with his wonderful wife, magnificent son, and entertaining cats.
